The Espejo de Tarapacá Project (“the Project”) is an innovative and unique large scale power project which combines Chile’s natural resources with proven generation technology in order to provide clean renewable energy supply 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Project is comprised of two commercially integrated power plants: a 300 MW pumped storage hydroelectric plant using the Pacific Ocean as its lower reservoir and an existing natural concavity as its upper reservoir, and a 561 MW-AC photovoltaic solar plant.
