Project Gaia is a blended finance platform that enables sophisticated institutional investors to deploy commercially-oriented capital through loans in local and hard currency, to finance adaptation and mitigation projects in Emerging Markets, including in LDCs and SIDS to help them meet their climate priorities such as Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs).
