|Overview||BTMU's Pacific Rim Corporate Banking Division is comprised of the Los Angeles Branch and two representative offices the San Francisco Corporate Banking Representative Office and the Seattle Corporate Banking Office.
MUFG’s footprint in the State of Washington began in June 1917 with the establishment of the Seattle Representative Office of the former Yokohama Shokin Bank, which converted to a branch in May 1919. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, BTMU legacy banks established operations in the region.
Today, the Seattle Corporate Banking Office operates as a Bureau licensed by the State of Washington and offers full commercial banking services through our Los Angeles Branch to Japanese and Asian corporate customers located in the western region of the United States.
Through BTMU’s wholly owned subsidiary, Union Bank, our referral services enable clients to enjoy many of the deposit and global treasury management products offered by Union Bank.
